As a side note, Brazil, a heavily Catholic country, is a nation on the verge of becoming an economic powerhouse with the new discovery of oil. What power will it weld over the U.S. in ten years when oil production is up and running? What about Europe?
We have used our power to ‘urge’ other governments into doing things. Can you imagine these liberal countries doing the same thing to us on the issue of gay rights? Look, being gay is a sin; it is an abomination. A government should not move to prevent these things, but it should move to prevent people from standing up for correct values.
Gay rights is winning over religious freedoms. Be warned.
