(H)uman disabilities, mental and physical, are a tragedy to be avoided at all costs, not something to be accepted as unavoidable fate, or worse, to be cherished for their uniqueness.
They ought to be screened, aborted, and engineered out of the human race as soon as medically and technologically possible.
(I)f they have chosen to have crippled children, they ought to condemned, and all the pain, frustration, violence, and expense caused by their choice ought to be placed squarely on the parents.
The above comments were taken from a seriously disturbing, or enlightening, post here. How odd, I find it, that this same man who would willingly dispose of fetuses children because of genetic abnormalities would then criticize the Iraqi government for killing hundreds of their citizens for the crime of being gay.
Scientifically speaking, if homosexuality is genetic, then it is abnormal. What species can long survive if members of that species can no longer reproduce. If the genetic defect of homosexuality is continued to be bred into the general population, then the human race will eventually become a race of homosexuals, with heterosexuals being the minority. Medical reproductive science not withstanding, homosexuality is then consider a human disability to be engineered out of the human race.
In a previous post, the author admitted that ‘morality is a practical science which can only be understood by rational consideration, not emotionalism.‘ The author has further said, ‘Genuine moral virtues – such as integrity, honesty, and productivity are not useful as evidence of religious virtue.‘ Morally, then, we should not limit ourselves to just aborting homosexuals, but then bisexuals as a corollary, and those races which do not include an acceptable genetic profile, or a history of advance. There are still native tribes in South America, Asia, and Africa who have not partaken of Western Civilization and the technological or moral advances made by the white race from northern Europe. Genetically speaking – and thus morally – these races show little hope for development and starting with the generation currently in the womb should be murdered.
Indeed, the author has said that he finds it acceptable to play God, saying ‘humans should strive to transform their environment and themselves in the image of their values.‘
Further, it may be acceptable to abort those children with an intelligent quotient which would impair their function in life.
“If there was a test for expecting mothers that predicts the IQ of their baby, every mother should have it done?”
If there was a test for mental retardation, then yes. If I could easily have a smarter child, then sure. Since abortions are expensive (not just financially), I only advocate them in cases where the child’s standard of life would be significantly impaired.
For now, that might include any of those less than average, but while we are doing this on a moral basis, the average will go up. In a generation, when the average IQ is perhaps 20 points higher, a new level will need to be affixed to keep our society productive.
It seems that the author is very moral indeed, and is attempting to correct the flaws of humanity himself:
“If you don’t like the test results, [are] you going to keep on aborting the pregnancy until you’re happy[?]”
If I were a woman, and with the disclaimer above, yes.
“Good luck finding a woman that will do that for you.”

Not a problem. I found his attitude disgusting. I really had hoped that the last we saw of that mentality was in the 1940’s
