Thanks all my Mobile Mofuse Readers

Category: Blogging, TechnologyPolycarp @ 10:08 am

As a self-hosted Wordpress.org site, I am able to add different plugins/widgets which add in the things which I want to do. This is the main reason why I decided to take the plunge into owning a piece of the worldwide web. Of course, there are downsides of being on your own, but my server master has been excellent in walking me through different things and calming me down when I messed things up.

One of those nifty plugins/widgets is Mofuse which redirects mobile readers to a mobile friendly site, available for Iphone and non-Iphone users. I installed it on June 6th, and have had no problems with it. It is easy to set up, runs smoothly and for all I know, no one has had any complaints.

Well, yesterday, I received some pretty amazing hits on it – which I am unsure if it factors into the hit counter, as it is a redirect through the Mofuse.mobi site. Hits, contrary to popular opinion, translate into readers, and that is what this blog is supposed to be about – the readers.

Now, that’s pretty cool. Since this site is primarily a ministry of sorts, ‘attendance’ is something good. So, I thank each and every one of you who views this site, either from a PC or your mobile device. Frankly, it makes me feel a little good that someone somewhere is actually reading this blog. It’s not about the hits, its about the readers (although you measure the readers by the hits.

I also want to take this time to thank my long time readers, such as Deb, who have been reading it from nearly the very beginning. And the other ones that I have picked up along the way. I hope you have read something somewhere on this blog which has helped you at sometime and I hope that I can return the favor for all the things that I have learned from you. While not every post is read by everyone or intended to be, I appreciate all the time you put in in reading this blog and in aiding in the discussion.

It warms me heart a good bit.
