Maybe my wife is right – maybe I do blog too much. I seemed to have missed the Earthquake down in California today.
Mexico’s Gulf of California has been hit by a “strong” earthquake, according to the US National Earthquake Information Center.
There have been no reports of injuries or damage.
The 6.9-magnitude tremor struck at 1259 local time (1759GMT), and its epicentre was 76 miles (122km) north-north-east of Santa Isabel in Baja California.
There was a risk of a small, localised tsunami in the area, officials and experts warned.
And from here, another earthquake:
Phoenix Fire Department spokesman Alex Rangel said a high-rise near downtown shook violently enough that workers evacuated.
Rangel said the workers are back in their offices and fire crews did not respond. Employees at a Glendale sporting-goods store also called to report their building shaking.
The magnitude-6.9 quake came minutes after two others calculated at magnitudes 5.8 and 5.0, according to the earthquake center.
And from over the weekend:
A minor earthquake rattled the mountainous area of southeastern Tennessee, western North Carolina and northern Georgia on Saturday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
The 3.2-magnitude temblor happened about 11 a.m. Saturday. Its epicenter was located about 55 miles east of Chattanooga, near the town of Ducktown.

Better pay attention. Don’t get THAT involved in blogging that you don’t notice natural disasters happening outside your window. Haha!

I know, I know…but I have a few posts took a while to write, and some actual work to do – which is generally not the case. Didn’t start looking at the news until nearing closing time.

It’s what we might call ‘live blogging’
