Yes, Joel I read the article you suggested, plus a few… It is good to know that people really do read Tertullian! Would again, that people would read Eric Osborn’s book: Tertullian, first theologian of the West (Cambridge).

Oh, glad you responded. I got an email reminder, got here, and realized I forgot to bookmark this page. So many links! These links are great, though. I know Dave Armstrong has some interesting ideas, though I disagree with him a lot and then get slammed by his Catholic readers.

And for those who ask, Patristics is the study of the Church Fathers – usually from Ignatius (110) to John Damascus (750). It is important, for the Church History and Theology types, to examine them in their context to see how doctrines, such as the Trinity, developed over time.
