At a friends place on Saturday night for a prayer meeting we were browsing through some free-to-air Christian satellite television channels and we watched a bit of a Morris Cerullo program featuring Steve Munsey. Munsey was flogging a gold and silver replica of the Ark of the Covenant and a book about the Day of Atonement. A day he said is coming up at the end of September and a day he claimed is the most important day of the Christian year. Munsey said if you got the Ark and book you would receive 7 Blessings of the Atonement (seemingly Munsey blesses you through the book), the cost about US$200.
Hasn’t this guy heard of the Birth, Baptism, Crucifixion, Death, Resurrection, and Ascension, of Jesus Christ?
It is sad that people get sucked in by shonks like Munsey.
