Are Homosexuals really coming to kill us in our sleep?

Category: Homosexuality, Religion and PoliticsPolycarp @ 10:45 pm

A post on Facebook linked here, pointing out that the author of the letter seems to be saying that homosexuals will kill us, the normals, in our sleep. Do you get that out of what was written?

Internal Turmoil

“Also our enemies said, ‘Before they know it or see us, we will be right there among them and will kill them and put an end to the work.’ Then the Jews who lived near them came and told us ten times over, ‘Wherever you turn, they will attack us.’” Neh. 4:11

The enemy comes in and becomes “one of us” unless we are discerning. For example, the Homosexual activists have been very clever in appearing as normal families while hiding the diabolical acts they engage in on a regular basis. They have infiltrated some churches becoming leaders and even clergy. God calls it an abomination and so should we.

The message was told ten times over “they are coming to kill you while you sleep, when you least expect it.” Nehemiah and the builders received the news from the Jews living in the outlying areas near the opponents’ camp. The Arabs, Ammonites, and the Philistines of Ashdod were planning to attack Jerusalem before the wall was completed. They would be able to take the city by surprise and destroy Jerusalem again before the wall was strengthened and complete. Nehemiah received the warning, “You’re surrounded!” For anyone, those are frightful words. They are enough to cause fear and trembling to the most trained of soldiers. Nehemiah and the builders had to deal with essentially those words. Fortunately Nehemiah heeded the warning as he had before.

My readers know my often harsh reaction against such statements, but I am not sure I see what everyone else is seeing. Do you?

    No, it is not there.
Just a bunch of hype on the part of those who claim that it is there.

You’re seing what is not there. The author merely used an example of people who dont love God’s righteousness being among God’s people who do…

I simply don’t see it myself, Wb, all. I think that it might be a misplacement of words, and that some people are jumpy, but he is using Nehemiah as a backdrop, not directly saying that gays are going to kill the ‘normals’ in their sleep.

I think it’s a misuse of the original context, but probably not meant to imply that homosexuals are really out to kill us. I think it’s a badly-written analogy, straining to use the passage from Nehemiah even though it doesn’t really fit as well as it might have.

Not unlike the people who are calling every tax increase Nazi-like, these people want to make homosexuality out to be more insidious than it is.

I guess I’ll need to see just what these people want to do about the infiltration … for the most part, we’ve been content to let homosexuals be as long as they’re closeted and quiet.

A lot of talk that could easily be taken and used to stir up problems. However, the analogy of it being families is probably off the mark. How about when they try taking the scriptures, stripping them down and then come in saying that it is okay with God. Oh wait a minute, that is not only the Homosexual community but those in the modern church as a whole. Maybe we are the ones we need to watch out for and remember what Jesus said, before you try to dislodge the splinter in your brother’s eye, you better yank the pole out of your own. We can so jump to the wrong conclusions lead by the enemy just so we quit showing anyone we don’t agree with God’s amazing grace. The writer of the above article might want to investigate and make sure it is Holy Spirit led and not spirit of lies led through the use of scripture, you know like satan tried with Jesus? I, however, am so thankful that I am so captivated by God’s amazing Grace that He is showing me how to show those who need it the most. Blessed be His Name forever.
