Michael Jackson and Kurt Cobain are among the late stars chosen to be contacted in the world’s first Twitter seance, it has been announced.
The event, to mark Halloween, will attempt to contact the spirits of a number of prominent dead figures picked in a public poll.
Others to be contacted in the event, organised by costume company Angels Fancy Dress, will be River Phoenix and William Shakespeare.
Twitter users are being asked to submit questions which will be asked if the London-based seance manages to contact the stars on October 30, the day before Halloween.
Psychic Jayne Wallace will try to contact the spirits, with any responses then relayed through the networking service and at www.fancydress.com/tweance.

“Dame Elizabeth” Taylor doesn’t need a seance for Michael Jackson. She knows that God knows that Michael Jackson is a genius. It is all on her Twitter, including:
