I don’t know what came over me, but for I have sinned -
So for, I don’t like the index placement of the Deuterocanon as an index, but at least it includes the expanded set.
Now to get Tyndale to put an NLT Ecumenical out….

Forget that, I’m still waiting for the Orthodox Study Bible in TNIV!

The placement of the Deuterocanon is likely a theological statement as much as any. If the various books were split and merged into the divisions used by the LXX, Eastern and Oriental Catholics and other faiths you would have 2 issues: 1) Different lists 2) the appearance of endorsement by the editors. I would like to see a complete booklist and order, but then I would also like to see the volume completely separate also. I get the impression the volume is intended to be an academic one, not a religious one.

I would believe that you are correct, R.K. I do note, however, that they make mention of the history of the placement, such as Luther who placed it in the middle.

You must go to PeterAV and do penance.
Memorize 666 verses from the KJV, each containing “thou shalt not”. Otherwise thou shalt ……

I think Catholicism might have an easier penance route!
