    Joel,
I was wondering if you could write about liberal Christianity. There’s not a lot of people who would claim to be liberal Christians, and I’m curious as to your thoughts about it.

Which is pathetic, because conservatives integrate fewer minorities, and fight for the rich. I don’t see many conservatives adopting crack babies, like, you know, Jesus might do.

I am.  There are many people who assume that in order to be a Christian, you must be a super conservative, and I am curious as to your thoughts on the matter.

Hi, Joel. For some reason your site is refreshing itself to the homepage every few minutes. That made some otherwise enjoyable perusing a bit annoying. Just thought you’d want to know. (Btw, I’m using IE8.0)

I don’t know what you think of Michael Moore, but this is an interesting comment about his coming out as a Catholic, seemingly lapsed though. http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/edwest/100013280/michael-moore-is-a-catholic-big-deal-the-catholic-church-is-a-nest-of-lefties/

In Australia the left Labor Party had it’s roots in working class Catholics of Irish decent. I think these days Catholics in Australia (as would other Christians) would lean more to the right.

Have you ever listen to the soundtracks of the left behind movies?

Excellent excellent music! Makes one almost hope in a Pre Jesus’ second coming rapture…

On the left hand side of your blog is a picture of a woman in a short blue dress lounging against the side of a boat, with ‘Get one’ underneath. Click on the picture and it opens a bland blog full of links to ads.

Remember that provocative lady in the short blue dress to the right of the page that NewTaste talked about in the comments above? She’s back.

  10. Polycarp says:

Will, are you talking about politically liberal?

  11. Polycarp says:

I believe that politics should not matter – to a certain extent, fascism, dictatorship, etc.. extreme instances of government, including anarchy and pure democracies – to the Christian. We find examples of favoring monarchy and socialism within the early Church.

But, then again, if we must base our political decisions on our religion, than Christians should set their priorities according to the Gospels – such as the great passages of Christ commending charity, equality, and the rule that the government should maintain the economic (temporal) and God the spiritual (eternal). Immediately, I think of the passage which tells us to give more than people ask, and hold nothing back – further to see no vengeance.

Hey, Bill. I fixed it – I think.

And who would use IE 8? That’s near heresy
