Jeremy Thompson, Biblioblogger to the Stars

Category: Other PostsPolycarp @ 4:23 pm

Jeremy Thompson is a fine biblioblogger, staying true to form as a biblioblogger and not separating theology from it. He is focused, dedicated, ethical, and generally an all around nice guy. See his post here, about loving your neighbor. The way I figure it, Jeremy is my neighbor, with him being number 2 and all. And I know that he is neighborly.

What? Wait, he did what? He has a coffee mug for me? See, this is what I am saying – Jeremy is a fine, outstanding, biblioblogger. He is starting a brand, featuring me. This is just awesome.

What Jeremy Does For a Hobby

Category: Other PostsPolycarp @ 11:59 am

When I was an R.A. at SELU, I was ’stationed’ at Tucker Hall. I say stationed because we had it locked down like a military base. Care to guess which of the 6 R.A.’s had given the most write-up’s? That’s right, I have over 30 in the first three weeks of school. I only had 32 residents.

The Groundhog Must Die

Category: Other PostsPolycarp @ 7:59 am

In a stunning defeat for my continued sanity today, ol’ Puxatony Phil (aka Punxsutawney Phil) saw his shadow this morning. Immediately, the Republican leadership blamed President Obama for the six more weeks of winter while the President, cool as ever, simply said, ‘the shadow was here when I got into office.’

My 32nd Birthday

Category: Other PostsPolycarp @ 8:59 am

That’s right – I’m cresting the hill, looking down into the valley, scouting a farm for purchase, I’ve set the bucket up. That’s right. I am old.

The Devil on Pat Robertson and Haiti

Category: Religious NewsPolycarp @ 11:59 am

Seems that the devil is getting some bad press as well from Pat Robertson and has written a letter to a Minnesota newspaper. (Why not Vegas?) You can read it here. (Purely humorous. I don’t want it to become historical fact 200 years from now)

Undeception is Not a Biblioblog

Not yet anyway. But, should the 10-point Calvinist such as he be?  I mean, honestly. The man loves the Manhattan Declaration!
