A few days ago, I posted this. Since then, well, it has went down hill. Stephan has pulled a Huller and squashed any hopes of being taken seriously as a scholar. With constant attacks, and a very revealing hypocritical move (by using pseudonyms to attack someone about using pseudonyms who doesn’t use pseudonyms) as well as failing to prove that his ‘documentary’ is anything but an attempt to get many well-known scholars to attack Professor Carlson, Huller seems now to be trying to duck and dive out of the limelight. However, the eminent James Crossley has posted on the subject. Huller has since left comments, insulting to me and to anyone else with an intelligence, but, bless his little heart, he is just pulling a huller.

Conspiracy, Does not a Scholar Make
I believe that we each have a responsibility to correct those things which we see are wrong, and as others who know me personally, if there is a fight that I feel is worth fighting, I will fight it:

Academic Study: Angels cannot fly
I’m going to have to create another category – religious stupidity. PJ pointed this story out from London – always the Brits – which relates that an academic study was conducted which concludes that Angels cannot fly. Honestly, if there is such things as angels, which this test assumes, then doesn’t it stand to reason that the rules of physics, flight and gravity wouldn’t apply?
The study by the Pew Forum on Religious and Public Life found that 68 per cent of the 36,000 adults polled thought that angels and demons were at work in the world.
But, according to major works of art, they have to take buses and hop ships to get places. I wonder if they have E-Z passes on turnpikes?

If the King James was good enough for Jesus, burn the rest
I find this move by this ‘pastor’ as disgusting as you can get.

John Crowder wants Christians to Trance Out, get Naked
Like Crystal, I am not suprised, but a little dismayed that so many people would rather listen to someone than read their bible. There is just too much here to deal with in one post, but feel free to discuss.

Technology Student Unlocks the Bible's Code without a Computer
Every now and then, someone rolls out the idea that the Bible contains some hidden message in the original languages, especially the Hebrew. Here, a student used the KJV. That’s right, instead of actually reading the bible, this industrious student spent two years of wasted time doing math seeing if he could get his name in the paper. I wonder if he found Barack Obama them?
Kenneth Briggs is a full time Tech student but in his spare time he has found time to crack open the mysterious code of the Bible. The code is like a DNA structure that unlocks the Old and New testament scriptures. When used in a simplistic fashion it shows the layout of the Bible giving support to claims of it having a secret wisdom and philosophy. This sacred system shines light on what knowledge was used to form the Bible and shows a divine intelligence within its inner books and verses.
“Any person can make progress into higher wisdom by using simple math or a calculator. ”
“To me its just that we would feel so wierd knowing that there was something hidden there that has been in our face for so long and nobody has spoken up about it.”
“This is wisdom that is not taught in your local church or weekly bible study class because it has taken me more than two years to research and confirm this knowledge actually works”
Since the begining of our religious history there have been thoughts and beliefs of a mysterious wisdom behind the Bible and other sacred texts. Today certain codes have been sought by many seekers with the use of computers. The most popular code being the Bible code wich uses a ELS method or an Equidistant Lettering Sequence to find encrypted warnings of future events. But the system that Kenneth uses is claimed to be more trustworthy to those who want a simple but very logical solution.
“This system is something that goes deeper than just the Bible itself because it is also useful in decoding and understanding our way of life”
“We still have alot to learn and I think that this will spark a new drive in our learning of the mysteries and the treasures that the Bible still holds”
