Oh good… another pseudo-revival built on luring people in, taking their money, offering false promises and not to mention what they do to Scripture.
Former Brownsville Revival leader John Kilpatrick (see here and here) says the blind are seeing, the lame walking and the deaf hearing at what he believes may become another long-running revival.
Since mid-August, he said, thousands have been flocking to revival services being held four nights a week at the convention center in Mobile, Ala., where Kilpatrick now leads Church of His Presence.
Kilpatrick said a spiritual outpouring began July 23 during an annual church conference. Visiting British evangelist Nathan Morris preached, and “we basically had another Father’s Day,” Kilpatrick said, referring to the day in 1995 when a five-year revival broke out at his former church, Brownsville Assembly of God in Pensacola, Fla.

Honestly, I wish people would actually read the bible, read the history of these modern day Montanists, and stop supporting these charlatans.

…and now a word from our sponsor. Ever wonder why televangelism is such a huge money maker? And why those on the “tele-cathedral” are not viewed rationally by their sheep? Not me, but i was wondering if you have had…..I just wrote another check to The 700 Club for Men…they promise to grow hair or my trip to heaven is on them.

Is this supposed to be a Christian site if so why do you take prayer requests since you don’t believe God can do miracles or is it that if its not happening with you its not happening. God has always been and forever will be a God of miracles.
#3 by Joel on September 27, 2010 – 12:38 am
I do believe that God can do things which have no known natural explanation, however, these pseudo-revivals show no real fruit
#4 by Matt on October 16, 2010 – 6:24 am
This is the real deal I hcae seen people healed and delivered and completely changed. There is no begging for money, its just all about Jesus.
#5 by Joel on October 16, 2010 – 11:09 am
Yeah…… (please hear the sarcasm that I intend when you read that). There are no real accounts of healings, no accounts of miracles. Nothing.
#6 by Jeane on November 1, 2010 – 3:02 am
I can’t believe we are going to go through this again. After the Bentley fiasco … I understand that he is showing up again.
I just wrote a very long comment only to have it erased. The enemy does not want truth to get out there.
What you are chasing after – the miracles and signs and wonders is Shiva/Kundalini. This is NOT the Lord. The Bible has given us all the examples we need of what to expect – how the Lord works – how the early church worked. This is not a New Thing – This is an Old Thing – Satan.
The rolling in the floor –
The wild shaking –
Crying like an animal –
Jerking –
This IS Shiva.
Shiva is the false god the “A” will use to take over
the world.
Shiva is the statute being sold at Target, etc.
Shiva is Tammuz.
Shiva is the queen of Heaven.
Shiva is Virgin Mary – NOT the mother of Christ.
Shiva is the “finding” at the end of the Da Vinci
Code.
You are chasing after signs and wonders – and
straight into the pits of hell.
If you want to protect your soul – go to a bookstore – do a study of how the spirit of Shiva
works.
Shiva is the third eye – on our Dollar Bill – now
appearing in our TV advertisements.
The Lord left in Mercy and Grace and is returning as the Destroyer. If you love truth – you had better contend for it, because you are being duped.
#7 by Jeane on November 1, 2010 – 3:10 am
One more thought – IT IS NOT the “real deal.” I had this great big checkmark when all the “signs and wonders” started around a few years ago – an ache that I just couldn’t get rid of. I started going to every source I could – got on my knees and cried out to the Lord to help me from being deceived and to show me what is real – and THIS ISN’T IT.
I have seen His grace and mercy.
I have seen satan cast out from the depths of souls.
I have seen healings.
God has used me to reach out to people hurting and needing healing.
AND I have read “testimonies” from people that have gone to these “revivals” only to be encompassed by demons afterwards.
There is a transference of demons.
We will SEE the glory of the Lord fall – we will
see the dead resurrected – but it will be His way –
when He chooses.
What helped me a lot:
1.) I researched Shiva for days. The internet –
Amazon.com – their books.
2.) I searched on the net for people that had gone there – real and imaginery.
3.) I GOT INTO THE BIBLE to see what it was like at Pentecost. The people Jesus healed – how did they act and react. It was a quiet and very Holy meeting. It was NOTHING like what is moving through our churches.
4.) I ran into someone that had been down there.
I had never met the woman – she was a young pastor. I was actually attacked by a spirit that was residing in her. They had laid hands on her. I almost ended up in the floor. I realized what had happened – but it took me several weeks to speak to her and confirm my suspicions. I took her lots of reading material – and hopefully she repented and woke up.
Do you love truth. Heading for heaven? You had
better check it out – because you are heading straight for hell and you don’t have a clue!
FEW will get through the gate.

Everyone here has made comments but who has went?? Sign and wonders are happening and they have medical proof plus Delia Knox is a well known pastor. I think it would be pretty odd for her to fake being in a wheelchair for 22+ years.
Signs AND WONDERS ARE NOT WHAT THIS REVIVAL IS ABOUT.
Yes that is what the media and the immature christians will harp on. And some do go just to see the signs and wonders, but what about the other thousands who go to worship God for hours on their weekend. The true and sad story is that christians have to travel for hours just to be at a place where other hungry christians are because the american churches are dead
#9 by Joel on November 2, 2010 – 2:07 pm
What medical proof? What spiritual proof? And pastors fake plenty of things
#10 by nate on November 2, 2010 – 2:33 pm
Medical proof- documents, x-rays
Spiritual proof- Fruit and plenty of it
Yes pastors fake plenty of things with the way they appear to live life being the biggest and also twisting scripture to fit their lives and needs. Faking a condition for 22+ years??? And also being well known in the city of Mobile…that was purely a miracle.
It is time to stop labeling certain movements and start discerning. The church doesn’t discern anymore because we think we know everything. The truth is so many evangelists and pastors have prostituted the Gospel that when a move comes along everyone is sick of it because we think its another show.
#11 by Joel on November 2, 2010 – 9:00 pm
Um… what? There has been no real medical proof, actually.
#12 by sandy on November 15, 2010 – 12:29 pm
Watch these videos and tell me with all the honesty of a christian brother that this is fake. If you cannot, then at least acknowledge that Jesus did this miracle and too bad it was at a revival meeting you don’t think is God. Give the Lord the honor due Him, despite the feelings you have for the charlatans. The first is 20 years old where you see Delia as a young woman in her wheelchair. The second is where she was touched and tried to walk. Now she is walking freely. So she was not faking it, my brother. Here is the first one:

They are fakes. Search for the same ‘events’ in what we might term 3rd world religions and you will find the same thing.
#14 by Matt on November 27, 2010 – 9:04 pm
Yeah, and you are a fake Christian! you who know so much you don’t believe anything. It’s pitiful , really.

Wow. Thanks, Matt, or God, or whomever you think you are.

By the way, the miracle has now made the news. I am sure that the news station would make sure it was a bonifide miracle. Plus the mayor of Buffalo declared Oct. 21 as Delia Knox day, because she came to visit her home town and family after the miracle.

Yes, because we know that TV never sensationalizes everything
#18 by sandy on November 29, 2010 – 11:00 am
Joel, you cannot use that as an excuse to deny giving God thru Christ, the glory for this undeniable miracle. You see a woman paralyzed and it’s verified by thousands who know her since she has been in ministry for years and years and now she is walking. You really believe that she faked being paralyzed for 22 years? Her husband married her 9 years ago and surely would have found out if she was not truly paralyzed. Even if you can prove other miracles are fake, pleeeeeeeezzzzz acknowledge this one – FOR JESUS”S SAKE. You are grieving His Spirit by not giving Him the glory HE DESERVES and you will eventually lose any credibility for being a follower of Christ, yourself.
#19 by Joel on November 29, 2010 – 11:19 am
Sandy, it is not an excuse if it is true.
Further, your ability to speak for God, while fulfilling for yourself, is not an admirable quality.
#20 by sandy on November 29, 2010 – 12:28 pm
I weep for you as you are hurting the bride of Christ. Without love you are nothing. May the Holy Spirit convict you until you make right all the wrong, unsupported statements you have made and truly love your brothers and sisters in Christ. I know you must not be having any peace right now but you can change that by humbly going to our Savior. I will not continue to write or read your comments because they grieve the Holy Spirit too much.
#21 by Joel on November 29, 2010 – 12:29 pm
Sandy,
I’m not real sure you can speak for God or His Spirit either, and from what I’ve read, people who pretend to do so, even in sincerity, rarely amount to much.
#22 by Jeane on November 2, 2010 – 6:32 pm
Nate – American churches ARE dead. I absolutely agree. American churches are NOT speaking the truth. American churches are OFF TRACK! The search for truth is heart wrenching. The path grows narrower and narrower – and few are walking in it. I have had to “switch tracks” time and time again. This IS the reason destruction is directly ahead – “Warning.” Directly ahead is the destruction of the very foundation of our churches.
The leader of your movement was first at the heart of the Shiva Movement. His “revival” was the first of several “revivals” that led the way for Shiva in our “temples.”
American pastors refuse to touch “Shiva.”
Shiva is a name of many idols the Israelites worshipped – Diana – Isis – the Queen of Heaven – Tammuz – Virgin Mary (NOT MARY the mother of Christ) – and on and on the list goes. This spirit ties into Horus – Ra – Egyptian idol worship. It is the third eye that we find on our One Dollar bill – built right into the foundation of America!@!@
Healing is the VERY issue that draws people to these meetings – to the Benny Hinn meetings. The Bible Code calls them trickery – satanic teachers.
Shiva/Kundalini/YOGA – emptying your mind and letting whatever roll in. Shiva is at the base of this false idol, also.
It is THIS subject – the SUBJECT of healing that is drawing many that love the Lord into deception. The Pharisees thought Christ was satanic because of his HEALING miracles. If you study “new age” stuff – this is one of the biggest issues – the biggest draw to signs and wonders.
The only ones that will avoid being sucked in are LOVERS OF TRUTH.
If we are in the end of time – point to where the deception is. Point to where the signs and wonders are. Guess what – it is OUR CHURCHES moving in Shiva. The Abomination of Desolation (spirit) is already here – and standing in American churches.
I’m not pointing fingers at anyone. I was there in the midst. (Not in Florida.) I sat in the first pew – I sang the loudest. I LOVE THE LORD with my whole heart. I DID NOT want to believe that this was not the Lord. I absolutely would not allow my mind to travel down that road – it was too painful. I LOVE them. I worshipped among them. I hugged them -prayed for them – cried with them.
It took absolutely everything in me to contend for truth – including walking away from the best friend I ever had.
Are you living TRUTH – are you walking in 1/2 lies – 1/2 truths. Do you fudge in your work or in your daily business dealings? If so, you are not a lover of truth. Truth. Truth. A lover of truth. Truth is very expensive. It may cost you your job. It will cost you most of your friends. It may cost you your church and all your associations. It will cost you income. It will cost you close associations with many of your family members. Your grown children may disown you. You may lose contact with your grandchildren. When you love truth – it will lead you (especially in these end days) to the most amazing, astounding, discoveries. Truth is very very painful. Truth is very VERY expensive.
It may even cost you your very life. Do you love truth? Your soul depends on it.
The Lord comes in the “clouds” of destruction. The warning signs over America are all over the place. Along with healing comes repentence and our turning away from sin. America is not repenting. America is not turning away from sin. Jesus refused to give the Pharisees any signs of healing – they refused to repent and be healed. The only sign He said he would give them was the sign of Jonah – being raised from the dead in 3 days.
I read a prophecy about 5 years ago that said there was great destruction coming to America. After that there would be repentence and revival. But it wouldn’t be sincere and wouldn’t last. And the lives of most would go on unchanged. Seems to me that that happened at 9/11. And if that prophecy was correct (and I believe it is scriptural) it is going to happen again.
I challenge you – which group will you be in? The one that takes the narrower, harder road – the one that changes lanes and contends for truth.
I’m not out to make anybody angry. I really don’t like to be hated. I havn’t said any of this because I’m mean spirited. Finding truth was very hard for me – very difficult to “dig up.” And it has been the hardest path I have ever been on. May you find the path – and may the Lord, with the help of the Holy Spirit, help us stay on it!
The End!
#23 by Jeane on November 15, 2010 – 3:20 pm
Can “other gods” heal? Maitreya is known for his
healing waters in India! Can other gods do miracles? Are there really other gods? The Bible tells us so. The Bible also tells us not to worship them.
You are stating that because the healing has been verified – that it could not have been any other spirit than Jesus – the son of the Most High God.
Signs and wonders everywhere! Satan is powerful — but not the supreme God of the universe. Why do you think 1/3 of all the angels followed him?
#24 by Matt on November 29, 2010 – 4:42 pm
Seems to me you are the one who thinks he is god, thinking you know so much about people you’ve never met and things you can’t disprove. What a miserable life you must have to constantly judge everybody and everything. I feel sorry for you.
#25 by Joel on November 29, 2010 – 5:37 pm
Just testing things by Scripture, Matt. Sorry you don’t like Scripture
#26 by Matt on November 29, 2010 – 6:02 pm
Which scripture, exactly? All I’ve seen is your opinion about things you are judging without investigation. You can’t just make ” this is the way it is because i say so” statements. Well, I guess you can if you want to. Seems i read that there were Pharisees that saw miracles, signs , and wonders and refused to believe anyway. All I’m saying is don’t just dismiss things you don’t know about just because you don’t believe it’s possible , or just don’t want to believe it. By the way, I apologize for reacting harshly to your statements. I was wrong to judge you like that.
#27 by Joel on November 29, 2010 – 9:22 pm
Matt, I’ve sen things like this before – it is not of God. I do not dismiss the sincerity of the faith of believers in attendance. I do not dismiss their Christianity. Instead, I uplift it! But, I dismiss the corrupt leaders who have led others astray in the past and will continue to do so into the future.

Dear Joel,
I click on managing subscription because I don’t want to be reading anymore comments you or others are making to this page. I will see you in heaven and then we shall all see where we all have missed it sometimes. Love you brother. Can you please do whatever has to be done so I don’t get any more notices for new comments? I tried to unsubscribe but can’t. Thanks and God bless. Jesus is still Lord no matter our differences.
#29 by Joel on November 29, 2010 – 9:22 pm
Actually, Sandy, you won’t see me in heaven. No one will see anyone in heaven.
#30 by Gerard on November 29, 2010 – 9:38 pm
“No one will see anyone in heaven.” Can you please explain this comment?
#31 by Joel on November 30, 2010 – 8:53 am
Gerard, we don’t go to heaven when we die or when we are raised during the Resurrection. Instead, Heaven comes to earth. This idea of escaping to heaven is a newer one and one not founded in Scripture.
#32 by Gerard on November 30, 2010 – 9:07 am
“on Earth as it is in Heaven.” Heaven could be an alternative dimension. But Jesus indicates that Heaven is not on Earth.
#33 by Joel on November 30, 2010 – 9:08 am
No, it is not, but if you read the end of the Book of Revelation, Heaven comes down to earth.
#34 by Jeane on November 30, 2010 – 9:21 am
Wow – interesting comments. Actually the Lord has begun to open my eyes in this direction also. The Garden of Eden appears to have been a “heaven” here on earth before sin corrupted it. And since the curse will be wiped out in the Millenium —
if you read the scriptures carefully, it appears that this is true!
#35 by Jeane on November 30, 2010 – 9:26 am
Dear Sandy:
I wish this were a “ho hum” argument going on here. But it isn’t. It goes to the very base of
deciphering what is going on and who is creating
it?
If you want to go on down this road and never
dig in to the very bottom of what’s going on –
then have at it.
But I guarantee you – you won’t be going to heaven – or heaven on earth. You will be
one of the millions on a road marked “hell”
with no exits.
Shiva – Shiva – Kundalini. Shiva is THE DRAGON.
Shiva’s picture is a piece of art at the front of
the CERN building. Shiva’s Third Eye is on our
dollar bill and lies at the very bottom of who we
are as a nation – the center of the Catholic Church – “Virgin Mary” i.e., the Queen of Heaven – Shiva.
It is the TIE IN. The one creating false healing
miracles.
I don’t say this to be honery – or caloused – or
hateful. I say this because it is THE MOST
IMPORTANT THING YOU CAN DO IN THIS
LIFE.
You MUST check it out. Quit running after
signs and wonders and get into the meat of
what is happening in America. If you don’t
take the time – or the effort — you are
doomed. Because you are already on the
road with a “soon to be” one-only way road.
